Dream announce new lines at NAMM 2015

Dream Cymbals for 2015!

NAMM is always a great event and a great way to get first look at all the new products which are being released for 2015. As you probably already know, two of the guys from Drumshop are currently over in LA at the big event, feeding all the gossip back over to me, so I can let you guys in on all the up and coming must-have drum gear!

Today I'm giving you exclusive info about the new cymbals from Dream! Dream have announced a number of new cymbal lines which have been launched at the NAMM 2015 event. These cymbals will be available to pre-order and are due to the UK around April this year but there will be a few available from the NAMM show itself!

Dream Ignition Cymbals.

The first of the new Dream cymbals is the Dream Ignition 4-Piece Cymbal Pack. This Dream cymbal set now features 4 cymbals including 14" hi hats, 16" crash, 18" crash ride and  20" ride. The Ignition cymbals also come complete with a free cymbal bag! The Dream Ignition cymbals are made from B20 alloy and are great starter cymbals for the serious beginner. Now that the Ignition cymbal pack comes with a crash ride too, you don't have to worry about adding to your set-up further down the line, you're ready from the word go! The Ignition series features hand hammered cymbals which deliver great control and extra warmth due to their hybrid lathe design.

Are you a Dream Energy Lover?

If you're a fan of the Dream Energy cymbals you may be happy to know that the Energy hi hats are now available in a 16" as well as the 13", 14" and 15".  These new 16" hi hats bring an amazing roar which is, surprisingly, easy to control. Where as the other Energy hi hats feature an un-lathed bottom hat, the 16" has a expertly micro-lather top hat and bottom, brining you exceptionally clear stick definition, and loud wash and a crisp click when played by your hi hat pedal. The 16" Energy hi hats are very versatile and produce a sound that will work well in any musical situation.

Or do you prefer Dream Contact?

Well good news either way, as the Dream Contact hi hats are now available as a 16" too! The Dream Contact 16" hi hats bring an explosive attack with great warmth and volume. Featuring Dreams signature hand lathing, these new hi hat cymbals have a long decay, warm wash and tight chick and are extremely dynamic cymbals. They'll do exactly what you need, whether you're in a metal band, or on a small stage with a solo singer songwriter, these Dream hi hats have got your back!

Finger Cymbals From Dream...

As well as the Ignition cymbal pack and the additions to the Energy and Contact series, Dream have also been working on finger cymbals! The Dream Timsha finger cymbals are heavier than your typical finger cymbal and are available in four sizes, small, medium, large and extra large. The Timsha cymbals were cast in the mountains of India and tuned to create that perfect shimmer each and every time they are struck. Don't be fooled by their size, these are loud cymbals which can cut through an ensemble without even trying! A quirky way to add to your set-up!
