The Shekere Is covered with a net of small beads it can be used to produce a range of sounds it can be immensely loud especially the larger sizes, they are very similar to the modern day cabasa. The Shekere can be used to produce slight effects to huge rhythms which is perfect for African band, school percussion or just to practice your rhythm.
