Pre-Loved Premier Genista 14" x 12" Tom In Damask Red
Originating to the 1990s, the Genista series stands out for its birch drumshells. Birch drums are known for their quick decay, minimal ringing, and strong attack, which makes them a top choice for recording and mic'd performances.
The drums have butt-jointed shells with no reinforcement hoops. 7-ply and 5.5mm thick For a more defined sound, the shell is 6mm smaller than the head diameter. You can effortlessly rotate the head without any interference from the shell's bearing edge.
Besides the lugs art-deco design, the tom also boasts a fresh functional design, featuring anti-rattle, springless bracket nuts that effortlessly align with the tension rods. To protect the drumshell's external surface, hard-rubber grommets are used, which not only add to the overall look but also enhance the shell's resonance.
