The kit boasts DW's Specialised Shell Configuration (SSC), layering plies cut to different grain orientationsâhorizontal, vertical, and diagonal âto ensure harmony across the kit, with plenty of bite and a pure tone. Each shell is then finished with the revolutionary wrap FinishPly which bonds to the shell and performs like a ply, while providing beauty with enhanced durability.
The 3-Piece kit also features: DW's patented STM (Suspension Tom Mount) system that allows you to reap the benefits of maximum resonance by letting the toms to vibrate freely while securely holding the drum in place; True Hoops, offering a major advancement to the game by allowing for perfected and consistent tuning, and finally, True Pitch 50 Tension Rods.
