Collectors Pre-Loved Dunnett Bronze 14" x 6.5" Snare Drum
We are delighted to be selling this on behalf of a customer who is an avid drum collector.
Ronn Dunnett started making working with drums in 1978 and now is the most influential custom drumsmith alive, due to the fact that the components he produces end up on so many other manufacturers' drums.
The Classic Model 2N series was the result of a few ideas Ronn had, but mostly as a personal challenge as a drum designer: to build a drum using the beaded/flanged architecture that he prefered more than his Ludwig 400 Supraphonic. Mission accomplished and the Classic Model 2N was born, named after his beloved Ford 2N tractor.
This snare drum, made from bronze, features Ronns patented hybrid edge design with a straight edge on the snare side and a flanged edge on the batter side. The 2N range offers a modern, updated and much more robust version of the snare drum made famous by drummers like John Bonham.
