The Black Panther ‘Maximus’ snare features a 8-ply 8.9mm mahogany shell, which has the sound and feel of a vintage drum, but is built with modern precision and atriculation. The drum emits a warm, traditionally big sound while having the ability to whisper in delicate playing. The snare features SONIClear 45 degree bearing edges on the top and 35 degree edges on the bottom, providing plenty of power and sustain while allowing you to regain that control that you require.
