American Hickory dowels have to meet very strict quality characteristics to be made into a Vater drumstick. Vater only uses dowels that have a specific moisture content, straightness and grain structure to in-turn, produce a much more high quality drumstick than other brands.
Designed to be comfortable for the traditional 5A player but with its small acorn tip this Vater American Hickory Session drumstick becomes a great drumstick for those who like drum and cymbal definition when playing. This drumstick is only available as a wood tip.
