Delivery

We aim to dispatch your order within 48 hours of purchase and most deliveries are made within five working days. In rare cases, for example when we have run out of a particular item of stock and are waiting for it from the manufacturers we will telephone you or email to advise of the delivery date, a delivery date can then be given. 

If a product ordered is now obsolete, we will endeavour to contact you by by telephone or email as soon as possible, we can then give you a refund or exchange it for a different product, in some cases we will upgrade the product at no extra cost! Should you have any queries please telephone or email our staff who will be able to advise you on your order status.

Your delivery charge is calculated at the time of order and is determined by the size or weight of the products selected.

The Drum Shop cannot be held responsible should there be no one available to receive the goods ordered. The delivery company will advise they called by placing a card through your letter box should you not be at home to receive the delivery. If after 2 attempts to deliver the goods they arrive back to us this will be at the cost of the customer. If goods are simply refused there will be a 25% surcharge. Should the goods be resent this will be at the cost of the customer.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING

We do not charge for orders over £200 unless the item has been discounted. When an item has been discounted or you have made a saving on the retail price there will be a delivery charge when you checkout. We aim to give free delivery or keep our delivery costs as low as possible however Drum Kits are rather large items and need to be insured giving you the customer the best possible protection so some charges may occur.

Cymbal Deliveries

For cymbals 12" or smaller the charge is £7.95. Delivery charges for cymbals 13" or bigger are £12.50. Cymbal packs are £14.50 delivery.

Returns

Please note we will not accept any returns unless authorised with a member of staff and you MUST have a valid returns number, we do not accept any returned items without an RA (Returns Authorisation number), this will be given when you call The Drum Shop. Returns when authorised are at the cost of the individual and maybe subject to surcharge. Please ensure you are ordering the correct items, as the drum shop can not be responsible for incorrect items being ordered. When ever the wrong goods are ordered The Drum Shop will not be held responsible for incorrect ordering, please take care when placing an order, we are only a telephone call away for advice.
In the case of warranted goods a valid Invoice must be produced at all times. We cannot accept any goods for repair or replacement without a valid Drum Shop invoice which you receive when ordering your goods. The repair or replacement of goods will be at the discretion of The Drum Shop we are here to help please feel free to call.

Damaged or Defective goods upon delivery

In the unlikely event that you receive goods which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, The Drum Shop shall make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods.
The problem must be in writing at the address stated in the confirmation e-mail within 10 working days of delivery of the goods. As above with the returns we will not accept any goods without an Authorisation number. NOTHING IN THE ABOVE AFFECTS YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.

Special orders

There are many times we special order a drum kit, cymbal or general item. Should you change your mind when a special order has been placed this will be subject to a 25% surcharge of the total.

Customer Notice face to face selling

The Office of Fair Trading states that you are not entitled to a refund after you have purchased goods if you have:

  • Changed your mind
  • Made a mistake when you purchased the goods
  • Damaged the goods yourself
  • The goods were an unwanted gift
  • The goods were purchased elsewhere
