This kit has been special ordered by Drum Shop staff in maple with sizes that appeal to most genres of drumming.

Featuring Pure Maple shells that offer maximum resonance, projection and attack, DW Collectors kits are constructed from the most popular wood for drum making! The hardwood is combined with reinforcement hoops to produce sounds that are more focused and translate well in both live and studio performances. The drum shells are produced in the California Custom Shop, a completely unique space, DW are able to provide super high-quality drums by responsibly harvesting their woods! The innovative features of this kit are endless, here's some of our favourites... Starting with Dw's patented STM™ (suspension tom mount) system; these mounts allow you to reap the benefits of maximum resonance by letting the toms to vibrate freely while securely holding the drum in place, True Hoops; these hoops offer a major advancement to the game by allowing for perfected and consistent tuning, and finally, True Pitch 50 Tension Rods; at fifty threads per inch and made from stainless steel, these tension rods are definitely one of DW's finest upgrades, remarkably they offer provide ultra-smooth fine-tuning with less back-out!
