The Mapex Black Panther Design Lab Heartbreaker is the one and only snare drum that you'll allow to break your heart and boy will you allow it to break your heart again and again! Constructed using an all mahogany shell, this snare has a dark, gritty sound which is classic of mahogany shells. Vibrant and resonant this shell can produce muted highs and a smooth mid-range. Reinforcement rings and single flanged hoops give off that retro vibe whilst still harnessing the modern technology and style of the 21st century! As standard, Design Lab snare drums feature Puresound 16 strand wires, which are evenly spaced to create an even balance response and reaction. Give your heart to Mapex and you won't regret it!
