The Custom Percussion 12" White Coated Drum Head is a single ply drum head that has dual capability, both sides of the drum head can be used to create different tones and feels. The head can be used as both batter side and resonant side which gives you guys double the options when you set to work with your drums!
One handy factor about the Custom Percussion SDP coated drum heads is that because they are single layered, on a whole they are a lot more sensitive and are ideally suited to lighter musical styles such as jazz. But don't be fooled just because they are sensitive doesn't mean they still can't pack a punch because given the right atmosphere they can certainly fill a room with the sound they produce.
