If you keep up to date with the drumshop blog page it's likely you already knew we were expecting a very special delivery and you've probably guessed by now that it has arrived!
We've been eagerly awaiting the Dave Grohl drum kit ever since we placed the order back in February and it's safe it say it was worth the wait! Built to the same spec as Dave Grohls actual drum kit, this Drum Workshop Jazz Series 4-Piece comes in a stunning Laser Blue Lacquer finish, complete with Solid Black Lacquer bass drum hoops and chrome drum fittings.
Dave has many drums in his set-up for Them Crooked Vultures including concert toms and a 20" x 16" single headed bass drum which has been converted into a floor tom, but we took his main drums to complete this replica drum kit; A 24" x 16" bass drum, 13" x 9" tom and two monstrous floor toms measuring in at 16" x 16" and 18" x 16".
This Drum Workshop drum kit is part of the Jazz series which, despite it's name, is perfect for all types of drumming and with these sizes is especially good for loud volume situations. The shells of this Jazz series drum kit is made from a 3-ply thick gum core with outer plys of maple. The combination of these maple and gumwood hybrid drum shells deliver the most perfect warm, punchy sounds as well as a powerful attack.
