Low Boy Standard Bass Drum Beater
Low Boy Beaters are a fresh, cool brand who appreciate the full package, they are a brand who have the ability to see the things from the drummers perspective and have considered every angle. From appearance, to sound, functionality to finish Low Boy have left no stone unturned and have really considered the full picture when creating these beaters.
With the Low Boy lifetime guarantee, these beaters are designed to last a lifetime, the craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into the creation of each beater cements this in abundance. From hand painted stripes to a hand bevelled and polished stainless steel rod laser engraved with the Low Boy logo, Low Boy make every effort to make their bass drum beaters one of the finest you'll ever own. This particular beater has a white wash finish applied to two thirds of the maple beater base, with the final third being finished in a stained red. All of this is drawn together with simple yet striking hand painted black stripes that beautifully break up the beater to create an effective, simplistic pattern. All finishes and stains receive hand polishing using the finest quality oils and this really shows in the flawless finish.
Impressively light, this beater weighs in 3.25 oz, somewhat lighter than a Drum Workshop two-way beater, whilst still allowing for all the advantages without the added weight. Another advantage of this cool beater is that it is a two-way beater, meaning that you can release a force of sound from both sides! The rounded end of this beater is forcefully eloquent, whereas the flat edge delivers high volumes and maximum output, designed to be undeniably heard.
