Sonor Vintage 18" x 16" Floor Tom in Vintage Black Slate Finish (VT 17 1816 FT)
The Sonor Vintage series are built to the highest quality in Germany, the kits offer the return of the 'vintage Sonor sound'. The Vintage Series are built as close to the look, feel and sound of the classic Sonor Teardrop kits, while introducing modernised features that allow it to compete with today's modern playing. Just like the original Teardrop drums, this floor tom is crafted to perfection with premium Beech shells which provides the drum with pronounced highs and mids and a great low-end punch. The floor tom features round bearing edges, Superprofil hoops and Sonor has integrated their exclusive Tunesafe system.
The round bearing edges allow more head contact which produces a shorter and bulky sound. The floor tom is still equipped with the classic 1950's teardrop lugs but Sonor has integrated the patented TuneSafe system which supports maximum tuning stability.
