Sonor Vintage 18" x 16" Floor Tom (VT 15 1816 FT)
The Sonor Vintage series is modelled after the classic 60's Sonor Teardrop kits, they offer the return of the old school 'sonor sound' with a modern upgrade on features. The floor tom shell is manufactured in Germany using the highest quality beech wood which produces an incredible sound of pronounced highs and mids with a great low-end punch. The floor tom also features round bearing edges which allow for more head contact, this creates a shorter and beefier sound. Also featured are classic 1950's superprofil hoops which have been redesigned by Sonor to feature a 2.3mm triple flanged steel hoop while still holding their classic shape.
The floor tom is also equipped with the classic lugs that would find on a 1960's Teardrop kit, but Sonor has integrated their patented TuneSafe system which provides maximum tuning stability.
