The Sonor SQ1 Series drums are crafted using the finest in european birch, we believe Sonor opted for birch because of the stable sounds it produces, it is capable of delivering balanced highs, mids, and lows, not only that it is capable of projection and volume to be rivalled.
Sonor's SQ1 Series drums are the perfect choice for both live and studio performances, they feature Cross Lamination Tension Free drum shells which allow for an excellent sustain and a neutral ease of tuning every time. The innovative Sound Sustainer System goes part way towards ensuring insulation from the shells and a long lasting and clean decaying sustain. Each shell features a 45 degree bearing edge as well as TuneSafe technology and classic bass drum clamps. SQ1 is crafted with only the best by the best in German manufacturing, the series is high quality and extremely professional, a quality that really has to be seen to be believed.
