Sonor Vintage 14" x 12" Floor Tom (VT 16 1412)
The Sonor Vintage series was designed with the focus of reintegrating the old school Sonor sound into the modern era of drumming. The floor tom is modelled after the classic 1960's Sonor teardrop kit, it features the vintage features such as teardrop lugs and a superprofil hoop, both of which have been modernised by Sonor. The superprofil hoops has been redesigned to feature a 2.3mm triple flanged steel hoop while still keeping to it's original shape and the teardrop lugs have been integrated with the patented TuneSafe system which provides you with the best tuning stability.
The shell is crafted from premium German beech wood and features a rounded bearing edge. The shell produces an astonishing sound of pronounced highs and mids with an impressive low-end punch. The rounded bearing edge allows you to get more contact with the head which creates a much beefier and shorter sound.
