The ATV EXS-2 Electronic Drum Kit features smaller diameter toms and cymbals with a focused sensing region, offering great performance, affordable price and space-saving benefits. The EXS-2 has the same spatial footprint for installation as the EXS-1, but this model fully utilizes mesh head pads for the toms. This compact also fully utilizes mesh head pads for the toms, providing realistic drum sounds generated by the incorporated xD3 module. Ideal for both beginners and advanced players!
The cymbals, compared to the EXS-3 and 5 model cymbals that have full circumference sensitivity, have a lightweight, 'sensor zone' design for affordability. Not only is this cost-effective, but is also practical as it makes the drum set more compact. Don't be fooled by the sensing area focusing on a zone, it still responds expressively to all kinds of striking! The hi-hat utilises a standard pedal-type sensor to control the open and close functions, unlike the higher-end models, this hi-hat does not require a stand to mount the cymbals! The drums feature durable, sensitive two-layer mesh heads and a new, patented, multi-senor design for the snare drum and toms, these features capture the full dynamic range of your performance and eliminate the problem of hotspots. Whether it's subtle or powerful, these innovative drum heads translate your playing into an expressive natural performance with immense accuracy. The kick drum combines sensitivity and damping, achieving great balance between them. Not allows you to never miss a beat by ticking so many boxes, including being rock-solid and fast-triggering!
