This Sonor Vintage 18" x 14" Bass Drum in Vintage Black Slate has been designed and constructed to the highest standard in Germany and is modelled after the classic 1950s/1970s Sonor Teardrop drum kit. A hand selected German beech shell provides the base for this bass drum and delivers warm yet dry, vintage sounds. A rounded bearing edge allows for increased head contact which creates a beefier, shorter sound, an iconic feature in vintage drum kits.
Other impressive features found on this bass drum include the classic vintage bass drum claws, which perfectly compliments the stunningly sophisticated vintage black slate finish, the standard TuneSafe lugs which allow for reliable tuning time and time again and of course the reliable Sonor sound!
