Coated Drum Head:

Remo’s coated Emperor heads are created from two free-floating plies of 7-mil MylarŒ¬ film. This construction provides the coated Remo heads with consistent open warm tones. The Emperor coated heads bring a warmer sound and tend to be more durable than the clear heads from this range. Remo’s Emperor drum heads are popular throughout the drumming world and are used for a variety of musical situations such as Studio, Pop, R&B and Rock.
