The Yamaha Phoenix drums have arrived at drumshop at they're looking fine! The flagship PHX-Phoenix series feature 11ply hybrid shells, constructed from Kapur, Jatoba and Maple, each with a beautiful finish. The Jatoba ply is built in the centre as it's a very hard wood and keeps the structure of the shell. Each side of this is Kapur which adds a lovely warm sound. The Maple is added to deliver a rounded tone and those all-important high and mid frequencies. This Yamaha drum kit not only sounds amazing but looks amazing too with it's Textured Natural Burled Ash Finish.
