So why all the fuss? Benny Grebb is one of the world’s finest players and he is visiting us here at Drum Shop UK so get up close and personal…

Meinl cymbals, Sonor drums and Pro Mark drum sticks are all of Benny’s favourites and these great drum companies have arranged Benny to come to the UK.

Our dear friends at Newcastle College have helped with the venue which is ideal for drum events, so stick it in your diary Tuesday, 7th May 2013!

Benny began to teach himself drums at just 6 years old after getting his first drum kit. At 12 Benny took his first drum lesson and quickly progressed playing various genres and getting involved with his schools bands. From here Benny attended two music schools, one in Dinkelsbuhl and then in Hamburg.

Benny has played with a number of artists over the years including 3ergezimmer, The Ron Spielman Trio and most recently Nils Wülker. As a dedicated drummer and entertainer, Benny has been known to get on to airplanes to tour globally and has attended many high profile events such as the Montreal Drum Festival in Canada and the Ultimate Drummer Weekend in Melbourne, Australia.

Whether it’s recording, teaching, hosting clinics or making DVD’s, Benny always has something going on to look out for!

We can’t wait for the Benny Greb drum clinic! We just know it’s going to be a success!
