Cymbal Warranty Process

At Drum Shop, we’re committed to helping drummers get the most from their cymbals. We handle warranty claims quickly and fairly, in line with manufacturer guidelines.

What’s Covered

  • Manufacturing Defects Only – Warranty claims are strictly for manufacturing faults. If your cymbal develops a fault due to a production issue, it may be replaced under warranty after inspection and approval by the manufacturer.

What’s Not Covered

  • Edge Cracks – Cracks starting from the outer edge are considered damage from playing technique or accidental impact and are not covered.
  • Centre Hole Cracks – Cracks around the centre hole, often caused by incorrect mounting or failure to use plastic sleeves, are not covered.
  • Keyholing, dents, chips, and cracks from misuse or incorrect setup are not eligible for warranty replacement.

Tip: Always use proper cymbal sleeves and felts, avoid over-tightening wing nuts, and check your playing setup to prevent premature damage.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Check Your Warranty Period: Different brands have different warranty lengths (usually between 12 to 24 months from purchase). Unsure? Contact us and we’ll help you check.

    • A brief description of how the damage occurred.
  3. Email Your Claim: Send everything to info@drumshop.co.uk with the subject line:
