Premier are releasing two Nicko McBrain signature snare drums for 2013, both packed with cool and innovative features!
The first Nicko Premier snare drum is the 'Nicko Sicko’. This signature snare drum gets it’s quirky name as it’s been created with 100% sycamore wood. The shell is 10mm thick and has a beautiful silver sycamore finish. There is also a Nicko McBrain signature badge to give it that all important final touch!
The second Nicko snare drum is the limited edition 'Ace’s High’. There will only be 100 of these fantastic snare drums produced, if you’re interested you’ll have to get in quick! The Ace’s high snare drum has been designed with a Spitfire plane in mind. The snare drum shell captures all the main features of the Spitfire, with the RAF target and LZ, Squadron 66 sign. It even has a sky blue inner ply, the same as a Spitfire. This signature snare drum comes with 42mm strand snare wire and Remo Emperor drum head.
This year, Premier are adding to their ever growing collections and have added a number of new snare drums to the Aviation series.
With the Lancaster, Spitfire, Hurricane already big sellers, Premier have now introduced the Spitfire in 3 new sizes, 10”, 12” and 13”.
There’s the new Premier Vintage 14” x 5.5” snare drum which matches the Vintage series drum kit and the slightly deeper Vintage 14” x 6” snare drum complete with 24 carat gold lugs.
Premier also have two new limited edition snare drums, both hand made in England. The Modern Classic snare drums have been crafted with steam bent 10mm shells and come complete with a Dunnett snare drum strainer. The Modern Classic snare drum are available in 14” x 5.5” in beech wood or 14” x 6.5” maple. Both snare drums feature the original Modern Classic hand made in england Premier badge.
The end of the video shows the Premier XC and Extreme HR series in a number of sizes and finishes. One of each of these snare drums is now in stock and available from Drum Shop UK and coming to the Drum Shop website very soon!
