Road Testing - Gretsch Catalina 22 Fusion

Great Sound.. Great Gretsch.

Today Wez (one of Drum Shop UK’s finest) came down to road test a Gretsch Catalina Club on the Grestch Stage here at our New Showroom in Washington, Tyne and Wear. Yep, what a great sound came out of that drum kit after Wez set it up. He also added some Istanbul Traditional cymbals. The place was a rockin’... There was a moment when some hooded guy ran onto the stage with an LP cajon which he grabbed from our Brand New LP section (which I might add is the largest in Europe – FACT).

Having played the Gretsch Catalina Wez told me that he was very impressed with it’s sound and feel.

With its all mahogany shells this drum kit is very durable along with its red sparkle wrap it is a warm sounding drum kit with a lot of edge and power.

Everything is starting to come into place here at the New Drum Shop UK warehouse/showroom.
