This morning I have had a lot of fun adding some Pork Pie snare drums which I'm pretty excited about. I love them all so much that I had to write a blog to gush over them a little bit...
These Pork Pie snare drums are great quality drums that all look and sound amazing. To start my day I added the Pork Pie 14" x 6.5" Hip Pig snare drum. I really love the finish on this snare which is Red Gold Duco. The Eastern Mahogany shell features 2.3mm hoops along with vintage beavertail lugs. Another cool feature is the Remo Taiwan heads which are very popular.
Next was the Pork Pie 12" x 5" Little Squealer snare drum. This stunning black snare drum is definitely one of my favourites. The 8-ply hard rock Maple shell is completed with 2.3mm black hoops as well as black drum fittings. I also love how the Remo Taiwan heads have the Pork Pie logo as it makes the snare look more cool... if that's even possible. Between the Maple shell and the brass snare wires, this Pork Pie Little Squealer snare drum delivers a bright, rapid response that is great for many music styles.
Last but certainly not least, was the Pork Pie 14" x 7" Cherry Bubinga snare drum. Featuring a Cherry and Bubinga shell that produces a great, versatile sound that is great for many music styles. One of my favourite things about this cool drum is the stunning Candy Orange Hi Gloss Lacquer finish. If it didn't already sound great, this Pork Pie snare drum is complete with precision bearing edges and 3.0mm hoops.
These Pork Pie snare drums are so amazing that I can't imagine how hard it would be to pick between them... I know I couldn't! Be sure to check them out here at DrumShop.
