The Sakae tour will kick start at Drumshop in February 2016 (date TBC) and is being headlined by Jeff Beck and Jonathan Joseph who currently drums for Joss Stone. There will also be a special guest on the night who is Brother Strut drummer, Frankie Tontoh. Frankie has also played for Amy Winehouse, George Michael and Craig David as well as many other well known artists!
Jonathan Joseph is an international Sakae artist where as Frankie Tontoh has just joined Sakae's UK family and we're really looking forward to hearing why they have chosen to play Sakae!
Both Jonathan and Frankie play Sakae's Celestial drum kits and will be demonstrating a selection of rhythms from his brand new publication ‘Exercises In African-American Funk’.
It sounds like the Sakae tour is going to be one not to miss and we're excited that we have the privilege to be the first tour date!
