These beautiful hand hammered Natal snare drums have just land with us at Drum Shop UK and we couldn't wait to get them out of their boxes! The 1mm thick steel shells are completed with a plated finish of either Nickel, Copper, Dark Copper, Dark Chrome, Old Bronze or Dark Bronze... All of which looks amazing! These Natal snares come equipped with the traditional Natal ‘Sun’ double lugs, Tri-Throw snare mechanism, Natal branded snare ribbons and Remo drum heads.
We have even managed to grab ourselves a very distinctive 14" x 5.5" Limited Edition Aged Bronze snare drum which features 10 double Tru-Tune tension rods, 2.3 chrome hoops and a Natal snare wire with branded ribbons. Just look at it... Isn't it stunning?!
As well as the Natal snare drums, we also received some Natal hardware including the new Natal Double Drum Pedals! The Standard pedal features a steel double chain drive, steel base plate, steel co-shaft and fast cam. The Natal Pro pedal, however, features an aluminium post and base plate, a stainless steel 303 co-shaft and a floating spring system with a smooth cam. The two different cams make a great deal of difference to both pedals. The fast cam is brilliant if you are looking for more power and greater attack in your hits, where as the smooth cam is better for dynamics. Whichever pedal you decide to go for, I'm sure you are not going to regret it!
