Sick of the noise complaints? This blog is here to tell you how to turn your acoustic set up into a low-volume (low complaint) set up! All of these products are ideal for practicing late at night without bothering the neighbours...
The Silentstroke™ drumheads are the ultimate in low volume drumheads, designed for quiet practice applications where standard drumset volumes are an issue. Constructed with 1-ply mesh material, Silentstroke™ drumheads provide a soft spring-like feel at very low decibel levels.
The Silentstroke heads we offer:
These Evans SoundOff Drum Heads are perfect for practicing on any drum kit without the noise. The mesh material reduces the volume of your drumming by up to 95% whilst maintaining the same response as any other drum heads.
The Sound Off heads we offer:
Our first range of low volume cymbals are the UFO Low Volume Practice Cymbals, durable zinc cymbals specially designed for practice use. They have the same feel and response as traditional cymbals - but with a lot less of the sound. Side by side, UFO cymbals feel the same from the bell to the edge, and even carry some of the same sound characteristics, but at a greatly reduced volume, meaning you are still able to hear yourself play without having to hit the cymbals harder! These affordable cymbals can be great additions to a small practice kit, or to add to an electronic kit for an even more 'real feel'. Alternatively you can add them onto your traditional cymbals to create cymbal stacks and give your kit that added personality!
The UFO cymbals we offer:
The Zildjian L80 cymbals are perfect for practise sessions thanks to their low volume, created by the special alloy construction and matte finish. Reducing the high frequencies, the L80 Zildjian cymbals have been designed to be up to 80% quieter than your typical cymbal. These L80 Low Volume cymbals still bring you an excellent sound and respond just like any other Zildjian cymbal so you're playing feel will remain realistic.
The L80 cymbals we offer:
