The Dixon PDSCST654PTS Cornerstone 14" x 6.5" Snare Drum is a powerful hammered steel snare with a bold voice and an eye-catching Purple Titanium finish. Its 1mm steel shell delivers plenty of attack, projection and durability, while the hammered construction helps focus the tone for a clearer, more controlled response. The deeper 6.5" shell gives it extra body and low-end weight, making it ideal for strong backbeats, rockier playing and fuller snare sounds. Tuned higher, it offers a crisp and snappy response; tuned lower, it opens up with a fatter, dirtier character. A great option for drummers looking for a main snare with punch, presence and a bit of visual flair.
