Born in Vancouver, Canada, Jeff Wood began hand-crafting his own custom ply snare drums from his own home. It initially began as a bit of fun, however Jeff's drums began gaining significant attention drummers all across the globe, who were impressed by the immense quality of his products. Wood's particularises in traditional 3 ply shells, however adding his own spin with changes in the construction process and the use of higher-quality materials.

This particular snare is crafted from a mix of Ash and Birch wood, giving off loud, cutting but pronounced high frequencies with an excellent low-end punch. The shell is reinforced by solid Oak Reinforcement Rings and contains Natural Precision/George Way Throw/Dunnett Butt With 42 Strand Snare Wires.If all that wasn't enough, the eye-catching oil and wax finish will really stand out amongst others in it's category.
