Sonor Vintage 16" x 14" Floor Tom in Vintage Black Slate Finish (VT 17 1614 FT)
Sonor has created a series of drums which recalls the classic 60's Sonor Teardrop kits, the sonor vintage series offers you the chance to experience the old school 'sonor sound' with modern upgraded futures to keep up with modern playing. The Vintage Floor Toms are crafted in Germany using the finest German Beech wood to create the shells, this gives the drum an incredible sound of pronounced highs and mids with a great low-end punch. Also featured on the drum are round bearing edges which creates more head contact, this creates a shorter and bulkier sound. Superprofil hoops have also been redesigned by Sonor and integrated onto the vintage series, Sonor have added a 2.3mm triple flanged steel hoop while sustaining the classic 1950's shape.
Also featured are classic teardrop lugs that have been upgraded with the patented TuneSafe system which provides maximum tuning stability.
