TreeWorks Chimes introduce the TreeWorks Studio Chime with 28 Bars and to put it plainly this studio chime will stand out with it's bright and high quality sounds. The TreeWorks Studio Chime with 28 Bars is perfect for studio settings where the range of tone and crips bright tones can be best appreciated, it also works beautifully well in acoustic performance settings where the clear resonance can be fully admired. With 28 ultra thin bars over one row which each have a diameter of 0.25", a perfect little workhorse you need to have!
TreeWorks Chimes are created using three main components; the cord, the mantle and the bars with several processes being hand rendered, the quality aspect is unrivalled. Handmade in Nashville, Tennessee TreeWorks are an industry leader in craftsmanship and sound quality. The aluminium/titanium alloy bars are T-6 tempered to create that distinctive, clear, coherent chime sound. Drilled then hand polished to eradicate friction against the cord. The cord itself is hand braided and hand applied to each bar in turn providing extra strength. Finally the mantle is sourced from TreeWorks back garden... no not really, but it is sourced from the Tennessee forests and that's close enough! The Tennessee hardwood, Black Walnut is put through a steaming process which intensifies the colour and strength, it is then cut and drilled repeatedly before the final oil is applied by hand to lock it all in!
