The PDP Concept Maple Series, crafted by DW in California, embodies a custom-inspired ethos and incorporates innovative hardware for an exceptional playing experience. These drums are built with European Maple shells, delivering a punchy attack and a warm, versatile tone that resonates beautifully. The 7-ply mounted toms utilise DW's patented Suspension Tom Mount system (STMs), which minimises tension and enhances sustain. Meanwhile, the Concept bass drums are equipped with die-cast, low-mass claw hooks for added stability. The 10-ply Concept snares come with the reliable DW MAG throw-off, complemented by chromed snare wires featuring carbon steel coils and chrome end plates. Each drum is designed with graduated counter hoops and dual- and DW's True-Pitch tuning rods, offering 20% more threads for superior tuning precision. To top it off, every drum is fitted with Remo heads, ensuring they are performance-ready right out of the box.
