The Mapex Venus Series gives new and developing drummers a complete acoustic setup with room to progress. Combining Mapex drum manufacturing expertise with upgraded hardware, cymbals and a drum throne, Venus offers a step up from a basic starter kit. The hammered brass cymbal package includes 14" hi-hats, a 16" crash and a full-size 20" ride, with two B400 boom cymbal stands providing a dedicated stand for both crash and ride. This gives players three distinct cymbal voices from day one, without needing to buy a separate ride and additional stand as their playing develops.

Featuring Mapex SONIClear™ bearing edges, REMO® UC drumheads, Mini B-Lugs and a complete set of 400 Series hardware, Venus combines a higher specification with the convenience and value of an all-in-one package. Its separate hi-hat, crash and ride setup supports a wider range of techniques as students build confidence and work towards drumming grades. Whether chosen as a first kit or an upgrade from a basic beginner setup, Mapex Venus provides a practical foundation for learning, practising and progressing.

Fusion Configuration - 20" Bass Drum

The Venus Fusion Configuration offers all of the specification and complete-package benefits of Venus in a slightly more compact and versatile setup. Built around a 20" bass drum with 10" and 12" rack toms, 14" floor tom and 14" snare drum, it provides an excellent balance between a full-size playing experience and a more manageable overall footprint.

The 20"" bass drum retains plenty of punch and low-end presence while making the kit easier to position in bedrooms, teaching rooms, rehearsal spaces and smaller performance environments. It is a particularly versatile choice for younger developing players, students and drummers who prefer a more compact setup without moving to junior-sized drums.
