Every snare drum in the PURE collection is fashioned from a distinct veneer from the outside ply to the inner, showcasing the unparalleled sound and character of each type of wood. PURE ULTRA snares are made from more exotic and rare veneers.

Pippy oak produces a warm and full tone with a strong low-end and clear mids. This warmth adds depth and richness to the snare drum's sound. The wood offers good articulation, allowing for detailed and precise drumming. Pippy oak snares project well, making them suitable for both live performances and studio recordings. The sound is powerful enough to cut through a mix without being overly harsh.
