The Genera Dry snare is a 10 mil single-ply with the fat spread of a double-ply. A 2 mil overtone control ring on the underside controls excessive overtones, promotes a shorter sound, and equalizes tuning. The addition of small dry vents around the perimeter eliminate additional overtones and create a more focused sound. A warm tone, with a fat and focused attack and minimal sustain.
