The Gretsch Catalina Club has been a favourite with drummers since its introduction in the early 2000s, combining classic Gretsch character with practical, player-friendly hardware.

This J403 configuration pairs a versatile 20" x 14" bass drum with a 12" x 8" rack tom and 14" x 14" floor tom. It offers more low-end body than the smaller 18" setup while remaining easier to position and transport than larger 22" and 24" configurations. The result is a balanced shell pack suited to studio recording, rehearsals, smaller stages and general-purpose playing.

The drums use Gretsch Formula 7-ply mahogany shells with traditional 30-degree bearing edges for a warm, punchy and vintage-inspired sound. Chrome fittings, matching lacquer bass drum hoops, the Mini GTS suspension system and low-profile brackets give the kit a clean appearance and dependable setup.
