The Kiko Freitas Ride cymbal is part of the Signature Series of cymbals from Istanbul Mehmet and if we do say so our ourselves the Signature Series is bursting with drummer collaborations that make for some super swanky cymbal sounds. Designed in collaboration with Brazilian drummer, Kiko Freitas this ride cymbal features an unlathed top and fully lathed bottom, as well as a raw bell. In terms of sound this ride cymbal is capable of dark, washy crashable sounds that have a distinct vintage style and produce a clear stick definition. These qualities have been forged by Istanbul Mehmet to truly reflect Kiko's drumming style and feel. Constructed using a B20 bronze alloy with a natural finish, like all other Mehmet cymbals, these were created using traditional cymbal making techniques and are handcrafted to perfection. Another stunning example of the high quality that oozes from Istanbul Mehmet cymbals.
