Since 1925, Sakae worked their way up the ladder bringing to light new standards of quality and excellence to drummers of all types. Beginning in the late 1960's Sakae became the main supplier of Yamaha's high-end drums, including the legendary recording custom kits. In 2013, Yamaha and Sakae went their separate ways and Sakae began creating their own professional line of high-end drums with some of the most stunning finishes to date. By 2017 Sakae were forced to stop production and the last of the Sakae stock was sold...
Until 2019, when it was reborn as Sakae Osama Heritage, keeping the same highest quality standards and philosophy, as well as the key personnel and elements that made Sakae so esteemed in the world of drum making.
Sakae returns with 2 new high-performance drum pedals, the Sakae Alexander pedals. This double bass drum pedal features a patented multi-axle drive, which allows for different levels of drive and gives your feet the full range of control and response. The aluminium footboards are strong and durable, and will absorb the impact from even the most heavy-footed drummers! It's dual-tension bearings will ensure there is a smooth transition every time. The pedal is equipped with a detachable heel plate, making it suitable for both heel-up and heel-down players. Includes a pair of resin beaters as well as felt beaters, giving you more of a range of tonal options.
